We are seeking a Settlements specialist who will be responsible for delivering Customer Service and Back Office support.

This role will see you interact with several internal and external parties, so your ability to engage and influence will be important to your success. Equally important is your well-developed problem-solving skills needed to resolve day to day reconciliation/ investigation and bank account balancing activities.
This is a multifaceted role that will require someone to have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines while managing a high volume of work. Ideally you have a strong working knowledge of payments and experience from within a financial services company. You will bring prior work experience with working within an operations team also providing SME support to projects and change activities, while managing the BAU tasks.

- An understanding of payments, wholesale and treasury operations, debt capital market products and ideally have an understanding of liquidity management and securities settlements.
- An ability to challenge existing processes and capability to partner with members of the team to develop and implement new and changed daily processes.
- An awareness of the key risks and required controls in the business and be accountable for continuous adherence.
- A desire to embrace change and ability to support the business with effective service delivery in the face of change.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team under pressure and competing priorities.
- A strong team player, able to take additional responsibilities.
Key operational responsibilities include:
- SWIFT Payments monitoring and Processing.
- Risk control self-assessment and SME support.
- Liquidity Management/ ESAS account monitoring.
- Settlements of FX, Money Market and Fixed Income securities.
Please note that the operational hours of the team is between 7:30AM – 10:30PM and you may be required to work in shifts starting 7:30AM, 9:00AM and 3:00PM. Shift allowance and parking provided for evening shift.
