We’re on the lookout for two motivated and experienced Online Shopping Assistants to join the team at New World Orewa.
Days & Hours:
- Role 1: Sunday and Monday – 6am start. Finish time is flexible between 12pm – 3pm to be chosen by applicant
- Role 2: Friday and Saturday -6am start. Finish time is flexible between 12pm – 3pm to be chosen by applicant
- We are open for this role to be filled by one person, Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon if the applicant prefers.
- PLEASE NOTE - this is a permanent position and is not suitable for students who cannot work permanent week day shifts.
What your day looks like:
- Picking, packing, processing and invoicing as per customer orders
- Checking that orders are correct, labelled and stored securely before deliveries
- Communicate with customers regarding any out of stocks, substitutions and other information
- Communicate any feedback / issues to the Online Supervisor.
- Load delivery vehicles

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous online shopping / picking experience is a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- An ability to work on your own and in a diverse team
- Good physical fitness - speed is key to the role, this role also includes being on your feet all day and lifting moderate load
- Great customer service - in the store and calling customers for enquiries
- A fantastic attitude, work ethic and a passion for making a workplace great
