About the role
The role of the Operations Analyst is to ensure CodeBlue is best placed to increase productivity and enhance profitability by ensuring the performance, availability and stability of its internal IT systems and applications. The Operations Analyst performs monitoring of alerts and backups, remote monitoring, and management of CodeBlue and CodeBlue Customer environments as per SLA’s and provides level 1 triage to issues and service requests.
Skills & experience
We are looking for someone with Operational Support experience, who has ideally previously worked in an MSP environment.
Technical requirements include:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in Operational Support Roles
- Strong people and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Systems including, O365, Azure, Windows Server
- Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Backups (Veeam, Azure, ShadowProtect)
- Antivirus / MDR (SentinelOne, ESET, Cisco Umbrella)
- TCP/IP Networking (LANs, WANs)

- Monitor and respond to alerts and backups for CodeBlue and customer environments, ensuring peak performance and availability.
- Conduct remote monitoring and provide initial triage for issues and service requests, aligning with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively maintain system integrity, stability, and security, implementing proactive measures for issue prevention.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging your strong people and customer service skills.
- Ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft systems, including Office 365, Azure, and Windows Server.
- Work with hypervisors and backup solutions like VMware, Hyper-V, and Veeam.
- Stay vigilant in protecting systems with antivirus and MDR tools such as SentinelOne, ESET, and Cisco Umbrella.
- Understand TCP/IP networks (LAN/WAN) to support connectivity and data flow.
- 1-2 years of Operational Support experience, preferably in an MSP role, showcasing your technical prowess.
- Proficiency in Microsoft systems and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Hypervisors, Backup Solutions, and Security Tools is advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
