Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As a key part of our Network Maintenance team, you'll be instrumental in developing, coordinating, and delivering forward-looking maintenance programmes across a wide range of assets—pavement, drainage, signage, vegetation control and more. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance of our network, while supporting critical incident response and winter maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance programmes.
- Support incident and emergency response activities.
- Lead planning for winter maintenance and ensure adequate resources are in place.
- Analyse network performance and treatment options for maintenance activities.
- Ensure data integrity within systems like RAMM, including claims and quality data.
- Coordinate with internal teams and key external stakeholders including NZTA and local authorities.
- Provide leadership in Zero Harm initiatives and quality assurance.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure maintenance or project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of asset management systems (e.g., RAMM).
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Leadership capabilities with a focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation.
