Planning Manager (Dimond, Auckland)

Our Auckland branch is a key operational hub—and we’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Planning Manager to help us deliver excellence every day.

The Role

As Planning Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our production and supply chain operations. Your mission: to ensure we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time. You’ll lead planning processes that balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory efficiency—keeping our operations agile and our customers happy. Overseeing a 3-day made to order pipeline, you will excel at identifying risk and developing solutions to ensure we keep our promise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to forecast demand and plan capacity
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
• Identify and resolve planning bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes
• Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support decision-making
• Support ERP system enhancements and planning tool development

You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, JDE, or similar)
• Knowledge of manufacturing or building products is an advantage
• A continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail
