Mo te tunga | About the role

We're looking for a Procurement Adviser to provide pragmatic, high-quality procurement advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring policy and process compliance and supporting contract requirements. You'll collaborate with our project teams and their external architects, engineers, designers, and other industry professionals, building relationships across a wide network.

As part of the Asset Management Procurement Team, you'll play a key role in delivering a large pipeline of construction, vertical and horizontal infrastructure, bespoke builds, and fit-out projects that are being delivered at pace. These projects demand technical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and effective procurement strategies to ensure successful delivery.

Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) plays a vital role in supporting Corrections' core operations, ensuring the organisation can maintain consistent service delivery despite external challenges. This team provides essential procurement services that directly impact the success of critical infrastructure projects across the department.

  • Experience in a procurement team, with knowledge of the Government Procurement Rules
  • Construction sector experience (sales, procurement, or related areas) is advantageous
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organised, with high attention to detail and accuracy

Utu a-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary range is $91,234 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $77,549 - $109,481 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
