ZIWI Limited is recognised as a leading pet nutrition company and is setting the standard globally using only NZ locally sourced natural and free-range ingredients. We have a passionate and dedicated team who are incredibly proud of the products we make and love sharing them globally.

About the Role

As the Procurement Partnerships Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our Ingredient Innovation team by delivering high-quality data analysis, forecasting, and reporting to inform strategic purchasing and supply decisions. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, managing supplier relationships, and optimising inventory levels to align with production, storage, and financial requirements.

Working closely with the GM – Supplier Partnerships and Ingredient Innovation, you'll help develop and execute robust supply plans across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual timeframes, supporting both operational needs and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse procurement, production, and inventory data to inform supply chain decisions.
  • Track and report on supplier performance, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving strategies.
  • Forecast ingredient demand and cash flow requirements across sales and production cycles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure product availability and supply continuity.
  • Maintain and operate ZIWI’s Excel-based MRP system, and support integration with ERP platforms.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve sourcing strategies and supply performance.
  • Manage and nurture supplier partnerships to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.

What You’ll Bring

Technical Competencies:

  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain, business, data analytics or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role within procurement, analytics, or supply chain (experience in food/pet food manufacturing is advantageous).
  • Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (ABEL or similar preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong background in inventory, production planning, sales forecasting, and supplier engagement.
  • Familiarity with New Zealand’s agricultural or ingredients supply landscape is a plus.

Personal Attributes:

  • Passion for continuous improvement and data-led decision-making.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust and credibility with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make commercially sound decisions.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges before they escalate.

If you thrive in a role where your analytical skills are appreciated and valued, we’d love to hear from you!

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic business with a global footprint. Our K.I.W.I values of Kindness (Manaaki), Integrity (Pono) Will (Pūkeke) and Ingenuity (Auahatanga) ensure that we are an organisation where you can feel that you are respected, surrounded with honesty and hardworking kaimahi with the support to grow and develop. If that sounds like a place where you can see your skills and experience will be valued, we encourage you to apply now!
