Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
It's an incredibly exciting time for AT. You'll be part of AT's Customer Products team as a Product Owner focusing on Payments. In this role, you will play a significant part in improving the daily lives of Aucklanders and visitors to Tāmaki Makaurau. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
The work we do is challenging, varied, and meaningful and you'll be joining by a great team of product professionals who are highly collaborative, constantly learning and sharing ideas. No two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of how we show up and deliver outstanding experiences for customers.
What you might like to know about this opportunity:
- Define the end-to-end experience and the strategy for improving product experience measures
- Develop the Roadmap and Epics and User stories for products, identifying key themes and ensuring funding and prioritisation aligned with strategic priorities
- Ensure we have the evidence base and insights needed to plan and prioritise initiatives
- Observe and understand market trends and leverage insights accordingly
- Seek and drive opportunities to partner with others both within and external to the organisation and identify ways to collaborate and learn
- Communicate the vision for CX and the product and how individuals and teams contribute to the vision in a meaningful way

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for customers. You love data and insights and use it to make well informed decisions, to track whether we are doing the right things, and to measure how much of a difference you are making. Bold and ambitious, someone who looks for innovative ways to deliver business outcomes. Along with this, we are looking for someone who has:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or another relevant field
- Experience as a Product Owner driving product vision, strategy, and delivery in a large complex organisation
- Formal qualification in Agile methodology and experience in applying Agile Methodology or other experience in delivering change to services with an enterprise-wide focus
- Experience forming and working with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
- Experience working in a customer experience / innovation or product development environment
