We are looking for a Process Operator to join the team at NZAgBiz Temuka. In this role you will be working with modern technology and be part of an established self-led team with an opportunity to bring fresh ideas. This role can open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business.  

You will be trained on four separate processing tasks and will rotate through them once you are fully trained. These tasks vary from processing powders into infant formula for animals, working on an automated packing line, material handling and machine operating. You will be operating warehouse management systems and will utilise your strong attention to detail to keep an eye on quality control.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Making of Milk Replacers for animals 
• Following written instructions including recipes log sheets and operating procedures 
• Manual handling of animal nutrition products 

Please note: the shift pattern for this role is Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5pm. The preferred candidate will need to be flexible during busy periods, as different shift patterns may be required. 

Mōu | About you 

To be successful in this role you will be physically fit and able to follow written and verbal instructions well. We are open to experience but ideally you will have a manufacturing or production background, or have similar skills gained in warehouse and distribution. We are looking for someone who is a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and is proactive around improving processes.  

Other things we’re on the lookout for includes:  

• Computer literacy, experience with SAP desirable but not essential   
• A full driver’s licence (F endorsement is a plus!)
