Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join the Brian Perry Civil team.
As the Quality lead across the Northern Region, Ground Engineering, Asset Hub, and Pipework departments, You’ll provide visible leadership and technical expertise in quality management. You’ll drive the development and continuous improvement of systems and processes that ensure efficient, high-quality project completion and seamless handover
This role offers a dynamic mix of strategic leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on support. You’ll champion quality-focused methodologies that reduce rework, improve delivery outcomes, and embed a strong quality culture across all teams.
What You’ll Bring to the role:
- Diploma in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or equivalent (Degree preferred)
- Working towards or accredited with NZOQ or equivalent
- Proven experience implementing business systems and solutions in complex environments
- Strong business and data analysis skills
- Experience with ACONEX, MS Office (Word & Excel), and SharePoint
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across diverse teams and manage priorities effectively
- Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and improve quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001
- Support project teams through mobilisation, delivery, and handover phases
- Manage internal and external audits, non-conformance processes, and document control
- Coordinate project completion strategies including snag/rework management
- Deliver training and awareness programmes to upskill staff on quality systems
- Provide monthly reporting on system performance and improvement opportunities
