Ōpōtiki Regional Banking Hub Concierge

- Part-time, permanent role – 19 hours per fortnight
- Unique work schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off. Tuesday to Friday 9.45am to 2.30pm
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
We're on the hunt for a friendly and proactive concierge to join our team at the Banking Hub in Ōpōtiki! As a joint initiative by the six biggest retail banks in New Zealand, we're all about providing top-notch service to our customers under one roof. You'll be the face of the operation, welcoming customers, booking appointments, and making sure they have an awesome experience. No banking experience necessary - just a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn!
Here's what you'll get to do:
- Proactively welcome customers and create a positive first impression
- Explain the awesomeness of the banking hub and how it can make life easier for customers
- Be a tech guru and help customers get the most out of banking technology
- Educate customers on mobile options and self-service technology
- Manage customer flow and prioritise their needs like a pro
As a successful candidate, you'll be employed by Westpac (the managing bank for Ōpōtiki) and will have the opportunity to work with a range of customers and banking technologies. If you've got previous customer service experience and a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!

- Ability to proficiently manage own time and interact with a number of customers at the same time in the front of house role
- Ability to link the customer with the “right” person, technology or service to assist them with their needs
- Understanding and communication of the banking hubs concept to the local community
