An opportunity has arisen for reliable, safety conscious, and preferably experienced team members to join our Remanufacturing plant.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday working 10 hour shifts, with occasional overtime on Fridays. Dayshift hours are 5.00am to 3.40pm.
Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of scanner optimisation, timber grading, saw operations, and being mechanically minded would be an advantage.
Main duties include;
- Manual handling of timber including wrapping & strapping of timber packets
- Recording with accurate data entry
- Grading timber for defects and quality control
- Safe set up and operation of machinery
- Application of PUR glue product and maintenance
Training opportunities may be available to gain knowledge in finger jointing for the successful candidate.
Due to the nature of this role, a high level of fitness, attention to detail, and showing good initiative will be essential.
