Invacare is a proud supplier of mobility and medical equipment including manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, beds and mattresses, patient lifters, ramps and more. Our equipment is used in facilities and around the home to Make Life's Experiences Possible.
We’re on the lookout for someone to join our Rentals General Operations team. This team provides infection control and warehousing services to our Rentals operation. You’ll join a small, close-knit group who work collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure our equipment is cleaned, picked, and put back on the shelves ready to be redistributed to our customers. This is a varied role which will keep you busy from the moment you start work, until the end.
In addition to cleaning our equipment, you will also:
- Wrap and package equipment to be returned to the goods area and shelving
- Operate automated washers and other equipment
- Ensure we have an adequate supply of cleaning products and PPE
- Identify issues with products that need to be serviced
- Tag items with serial numbers
- Pick and put away stock items
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are physically fit and can lift heavy items
- Have previous experience working in a warehouse
- Don’t mind getting stuck in to get the work done both by yourself and as a team
- Have an energetic and positive attitude with good communication skills
- Are reliable and pride yourself on doing a great job, every time!
- A forklift licence would be desirable however is not essential
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
