The opportunity

Partnering with our Underwriters, you’ll play a key role in delivering thoughtful, strategic risk management solutions that support business growth and resilience. Highlights of the role include:

Your new role
Provide expert risk improvement advice and conduct loss control surveys across a diverse portfolio. You’ll work closely with Portfolio Managers and Underwriters to evaluate hazard controls, recommend loss prevention strategies, and deliver technical insights that support customer retention and acquisition. You will also:
- Engage with the customer to understand their risk profile and identify solutions to minimise the risk of loss or disruption to the business.
- Advise customers on how to best protect their business against loss or disruption.
- Provide survey reports and risk improvement advice to Underwriters and others within the business.
- Continuously learn about new industries, technologies, process & manufacturing improvements.
- Provide technical advice including contributing to risk management documentation and sharing your knowledge with Underwriters and others within the business.
- Ensure accurate validation and recording of risk data.
Please note that for the successful candidate, this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team, 2 interviews (either face to face or online via Teams), and background checks.
About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Experience in site surveying, or commercial loss control, or transferable skills.
- Confidence as a communicator & negotiator with the ability to understand and convey technical information to a wide range of people.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Being tech savvy and enjoy continuous learning.
- Strong analytical & numerical skills with the ability to use data for decision making.
- A valid Driver’s License – regular travel is part of the role.
