Based in Glenorchy, you'll guide manuhiri (visitors) on our unique Funyak (inflatable canoe) experience — a journey that combines exhilarating jet boating with serene paddling through the spectacular Dart River and Mt Aspiring National Park. Along the way, you'll share stories, host a wilderness picnic, and explore the stunning Rockburn Chasm.
What you'll bring:

- Love nature and adventure
- Are confident storytellers and engaging hosts
- Work well in a team and under pressure
- Are physically fit and safety-conscious
- Have experience guiding in dynamic outdoor environments
- Are open to learning and sharing Ngāi Tahu culture and stories
- Can work shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred qualifications:
- Full, clean NZ driver's licence (Class 2 and P Endorsement desirable or ability to attain)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Recent River Rescue course (within the last 3 years)
