Security Assurance and Awareness Specialist

Want to make a real impact in how 2degrees builds trust in its security practices? In this role, you'll lead the delivery of our assurance and awareness programme and security initiatives, making sure our controls are effective, our audits run smoothly, and our people are informed. You'll work across the business to coordinate internal and external audits, manage evidence workflows, and drive continuous improvement in how we communicate and embed security. Whether it's refining frameworks, leading initiatives, or crafting campaigns that make security stick, your work will help us deliver on our purpose of Fighting for Fair.
How you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira
- A strong security mindset and a natural drive to steer things in the right direction
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, NZISM or PCIDSS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
- Comfortable leading initiatives and managing multiple priorities across teams
- Passion for building a security-aware culture through inclusive and creative approaches
