The Position:
Security Tasks may include (but not limited to):
Security Tasks may include (but not limited to):
- Internal and external patrols
- Night escorts to vehicles or on-site accommodation facilities
- CCTV and access control; CCTV monitoring of all hospital camera systems including entry monitoring and vetting of persons wishing to gain entry
- Monitoring and managing access routes
- Patient watches
- Securing buildings and vehicles
- Dealing with unwanted behaviour
- Supporting and directing the public
- R.T Communications
- Reporting of all incidents and shift activities
- Enforcement of relevant policies and procedures
Minimum Criteria:
- Certificate of Approval (PSG, PRG, CC) classes
- COVID Vaccination (2 doses + booster)
- Vulnerable Children’s Act (VCA) Vetting
- First Aid Certificate (or the ability to obtain one)
- Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
- Professional presentation and customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be physical fit and healthy
- Have a good eye for detail and pride in your work
- Be reliable, honest and sensible
