About the role
As a Senior Advisor, Capability working within the Core Capability team at the Leadership Development Centre you will work at the whole-of-system level. You will design exceptional and high impact learning experiences, both digital, self-paced and face to face. You will provide advice and learning consultancy through review and partnership with subject matter experts, functional and system leads and heads of profession. You will also support thought leadership into the learning experiences required to build individual and system capability.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate and curious about learning and development.
- Committed to developing learning experiences that support the public service.
- Experience designing blended learning programs, eLearning courses, videos, and other learning resources, in particular using Articulate Rise and Adobe Cloud suite.
- Contribute to the design and development of learning assets using contemporary approaches, such as the Learning Cluster Design approach.
- Support system/functional leads and heads of profession in the delivery of system learning through the Public Service Core Learning Hub.
- Manage key stakeholders' relationships to ensure that stakeholders are well informed and are included in the development of learning.

This position sits within the Leadership Development Centre which is a business unit within Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission. The Leadership Development Centre (LDC) is the primary delivery vehicle for system-wide leadership development. The LDC is evolving its focus to include learning to build core public service capabilities. This work programme focuses on creating learning experiences that ensure all public servants understand the Public Service, our ethics, values, principles, how we work, and the unique skills and knowledge required to be a public servant.

Remuneration
The full range for the band is $107,146 to $143,313. We typically look to appoint to role between $107,146 to $130,507, depending on skills and experience.
