About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
You’ll be embedded in a significant programme of work – Rehabilitation & Treatment programme (RTP) - supporting change communications and internal engagement across a complex and evolving landscape. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering tactical internal communications that support programme milestones and change initiatives
- Crafting clear, consistent messaging aligned with organisational change goals
- Developing and executing engagement plans in collaboration with programme leads
- Supporting reporting and storytelling to bring the programme’s impact to life
- Working closely with the internal communications team to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide channels and practices
- Managing day-to-day communications activities and contributing to programme forums and stakeholder updates
- Support other programme tasks as and where required as directed by the Stakeholder Engagement Lead
This role is about getting things done. You’ll be trusted to work independently while having the support of the internal comms team and the programme lead.
About you | Mōu
You’re an adaptable, delivery-focused communicator with around five years’ experience in internal communications, ideally within a large organisation. You thrive in environments where things change quickly and enjoy the challenge of juggling multiple priorities. You bring:
- Proven experience in change communications and internal engagement
- Strong writing and storytelling skills across a range of formats and channels
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across teams
- Comfort working in programme-based environments with shifting priorities
- Knowledge of internal communications practices and tools
- An understanding of frontline work (e.g. case management) is helpful but not essential
- A comms or change qualification is a bonus, but not a requirement

The full salary range for this is $101,287 - $142,993 + we offer a 9% employer Superannuation contribution. Appointment will be made based on skills, experience and internal relativities.
