About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We are looking for an experienced Senior Organisational Design Advisor to make a difference in this large and varied organisation. As the Senior Advisor you will lead key organisational change projects or pieces of work using your expertise in organisational design.
Working as part of the Organisational Design team, the Senior Advisor partners closely with leaders to successfully deliver organisational change. This is a hands-on role in a supportive and collaborative team. You would work as a trusted advisor to ensure consistency and validity of organisational design practices while creating a seamless people experience.
This is a permanent, Wellington based role.
About you | Mōu
To be successful in this role you will need a sound organisational design understanding and proven experience. Ideally you will have led organisational change work and can think strategically and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Your strong relationship building skills will be invaluable as you work with stakeholders across ACC to deliver a variety of organisational change projects. Having a strong eye for detail will also be hugely helpful. This role includes the full range of organisational design activities including assessment, organisation and role design, helping to define/refine ways of working and supporting consultation and engagement.
You'll also bring:
- Practical organisational design experience at a senior level.
- A sound understanding of HR and ER requirements and processes.
- A deep understanding of organisational design process and methodology.
- Experience leading organisational design, change and consultation process.
- Demonstrated ability in the gathering, analysis and presentation of information for organisational design models and other communication materials.
- You can easily influence and lead people to deliver the very best.
- You have a collaborative approach and enjoy being part of a team.
- The ability to coach and mentor others to develop skills and capabilities within the team.

The salary range for this role is $117,787 – $166,288 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal team relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
