Te Whiwhinga Mahi - Our opportunity
As a Senior Advisor - Practice Improvement, you'll work collaboratively with the Practice Improvement Manager supporting place-based people leaders to identify, develop and implement practice improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Your proficiency with practice improvement methodologies, tools and processes will support you in collaborating with people leaders on the development of a local plan to drive operational excellence in line with our national service delivery model. Your expertise with data analysis and process mapping experience will support you to succeed in this role, and fluency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous.
As a Senior, you'll also work with our wider Customer Experience and Practice team to identify where local initiatives can be scaled nationally. Flexibility is essential, as this role will require regular travel around the region.
Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring
Here's what we'd love for you to bring to the role:
- A qualification in continuous improvement or a relevant tertiary qualification, with at least 3 years of proven experience with the practical application of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lean six sigma green belt certification is highly desirable.
- Experience identifying future opportunities and challenges, challenging the status quo and exploring ideas and opportunities that may lead to new more innovate, creative and effective solutions.
- Experience working effectively across all levels of the organisation and particularly with senior leaders; a track record in building trusted relationships and working in partnership with key stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to problem solving and ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely.
