This is a Wellington based hybrid role with three days in the office. Anchor days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Meet with stakeholders, product owners, or end users to clarify business needs.
- Review and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain and update user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Liaising with Development Teams
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Clarify requirements and answer developer questions.
Data Analysis and Validation
- Use tools like SQL, Excel, or BI dashboards to analyse data trends.
- Validate data against business rules or system requirements.
- Support data mapping or transformation for integration efforts.
Documentation and Modelling
- Update or create documentation such as system diagrams (e.g., process flows, data models).
- Use tools like Confluence to maintain technical and business artifacts.
Testing and Quality Assurance Support
- Review test cases to ensure they align with requirements.
- Perform or assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Log defects and support issue resolution with dev teams.

What technical skills are REQUIRED for this role?
- Cloud platform familiarity
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle and release management
- Knowledge of API’s, data flows and system integrations
- Data Analysis &SQL
- Proficient use of JIRA, Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks
