We’re looking for a data-savvy and commercially minded Senior Business Performance Analyst to join our Commercial & Strategy team at the AA. If you thrive on turning data into insights that drive performance and strategy, this role offers a dynamic environment and the chance to influence decisions that matter.
What You’ll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
Monitor and report on key business performance metrics across product lines including Life and Health Insurance.
Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards using tools like Tableau and Excel.
Analyse operational, sales, and customer data to uncover insights and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams—Product, Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience—to ensure aligned performance reporting.
Present insights to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations that influence decisions.
Drive data integrity and collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to improve reporting capabilities and automate workflows.
About You | Mōu
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
7+ years of business/financial performance analysis experience.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau, SQL, or Salesforce is a plus.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect metrics to business outcomes.
Confident communication skills—able to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
Experience in the financial or insurance sector is highly desirable.
