As a Senior Consultant in our Risk Remediation team, you’ll play a key role in delivering Holidays Act remediation services across various sectors. You’ll be part of large, cross-functional project teams addressing complex challenges and delivering outcomes that positively impact some of Aotearoa’s largest organisations and their people.
You’ll work with large, complex datasets—translating them into insights and analytical models using tools such as Alteryx, Python, and SQL to drive business decisions and ensure compliance.
This role is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.

- Act as a high-performing team member on Holidays Act remediation programmes by identifying key issues and delivering high-quality outputs using your knowledge of business systems and data analytics to offer practical client solutions.
- Support other team members in understanding data requirements, ensuring quality delivery, and enhancing technical outputs.
- Analyse large data sets and develop models to support decision-making, translating business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members in developing their SQL and Python capabilities, while reviewing modelling outputs for quality and alignment with business needs - including testing and documentation.

- 3 – 5 years of strong working knowledge of the NZ Holidays Act and how it interacts with business systems and processes.
- Advanced data analytics and modelling skills, with the ability to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Familiarity with ETL frameworks and tools such as Alteryx and Microsoft SSIS.
In addition, the following would be highly regarded (but not essential)—we value your growth mindset and willingness to learn:
- Experience with databases such as SQL Server.
- Comfort working with large datasets, with proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data languages.
