All Trades Contract Services are looking for a Senior Heavy Fabricator to work with our client in Gisborne.
Due to the nature of the industry, there would be the requirement for onsite work outside of Gisborne, which includes Hawkes Bay.
About the role:
- Starting wage of $35.00 per hour
- Minimum guranteed 30 hours per week
- Must be available to work weekends
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Oversee the execution of welding and fabrication projects
- Perform welding and fabrication work on complex and high-value projects
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on welding work, ensuring adherence to project specifications and identifying any defects or issues.
- Execute projects involving pipe welding, structural welding, and precision fabrication.
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock. Shaping, bending, aligning and joining metal sections using various tools and techniques. Finishing and cleaning products.
- Mentor and guide junior tradesmen, apprentices and team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
We are looking for an experienced heavy fabricator. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience.
Applicants must have expertise in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
