We are now looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our high-performing legal team. This full time role, with up to two days working from home, offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal matters, providing strategic advice and partnering with stakeholders globally.
What you’ll do
- Provide timely, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice on a range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and privacy matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a diverse range of contracts.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business units to influence outcomes and balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Develop and share legal knowledge and insights to empower the business to make informed decisions.
- Lead key projects and support continuous improvement initiatives within the legal function.
- Monitor legal developments to ensure compliance and proactively mitigate risk.
- Support the Legal Services team in adopting new systems, processes, and technology.
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years PQE, ideally including experience in a top-tier law firm and at least two years in-house or on secondment.
- Expertise in commercial law with strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of intellectual property, privacy laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts and deliver practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence at all levels.
- Flexibility to collaborate across time zones and occasionally work outside regular hours.
