Job Description
Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we're expanding our team and are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with MV & HV design experience to join us in our Hamilton or Auckland office.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Lead the technical design of projects involving HV and MV electrical equipment for clients across the generation, industrial, and transmission & distribution sectors.
- Deliver high-quality outcomes by ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Produce clear, concise technical reports and proposal documents that support project success.
- Communicate technical information confidently with both internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
The qualities that help you thrive:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status, or working towards it
- 5+ years of experience in MV & HV equipment design e.g. cables, switchgear, transformers, etc.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as CDEGS, CYMCAP or similar
- Valid driver’s licence
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is desirable but not essential
