As our Energy and Utilities Business Unit continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Senior People and Culture Business Partner to join our competent and supportive team based at our Kerrs Road office in Auckland with flexibility to also work in our Albany office.

As an established Senior People and Culture Business Partner who thrives under pressure, is focussed on achieving results in innovative, dynamic, fast-paced organisation, using strong communication, analytical and project management skills.
What we are looking for
- A Degree in Human Resources
- Mentor and coach Human Resource Business Partners which will involve guiding them in their strategic, operational, and interpersonal roles as well as help building their technical experience
- Demonstrate experience managing all related HR Activities including end to end support to a diverse portfolio of operational business units in a shutdown/project environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to translate HR objectives into day-to-day operational deliverables
- Proficiency in providing general HR and IR advice, support, and guidance in utilising your working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Background in utilities sector or blue collar industry/ union representation experience desirable
- Support managers with the interpretation of, and adherence to, policies and procedures and interpretation of employment legislation
- Support a working environment where people feel engaged, rewarded, and valued
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and prioritise stakeholder requests
- Ability to build strong line of business relationships to collaborate, influence and foster teamwork
