What are some of the day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete?
This position involves collaborative work with the broader Credit Portfolio Intelligence team, focusing on portfolio management, analytics, and reporting. Day to day you will:
- Consistently prepare and present accurate, timely, and insightful risk reports related to BS19 and BS20, while supporting adherence to reporting standards under APS 220 and APG 223.
- Monitor weekly fluctuations in key data metrics and coordinate with stakeholders regarding applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the accuracy and reliability of risk data and reports by applying rigorous quality control measures, including thorough file reviews.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
This role is tasked with monitoring and reporting on the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying potential issues and/or opportunities!
What do we want you to know before you apply?
This role contributes to upholding a robust control framework by delivering thorough reporting and guidance. Responsibilities include evaluating key metrics and investigations, performing application assessments, and preparing visually engaging reports.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you will have at least three years of relevant experience in reporting or portfolio management within the financial services sector. You will also have exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities are crucial for interpreting large datasets and detecting patterns. Ideally you will also be competent in utilizing various data analysis tools such as SAS (advance), Excel (advance) and SQL. Power BI, Python and Tableau will be beneficial.
