We're looking for a creatively charged Afternoon's Producer to deliver engaging content that entertains our loyal audience and keeps them coming back for more.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Content Director, you'll be the creative collaborator behind The Edge Arvos, shaping the show's content each day.
- Pitching, planning and executing original content ideas across radio, online, social, and rova.
- Ensuring everything we do reflects the feel and tone of The Edge - where we are big on laughs, fun and of course the best new music!
- Partnering with Sean, Steph and Harrison, the wider content team, and digital leads to create fun moments.
- Confidently run Zetta, Next Gen, and editing software with ease, keeping the show running seamlessly.
- Making sure everything meets broadcasting standards and aligns with the Broadcasting Act.
- Opportunities to work on exciting projects and campaigns that stretch beyond the studio.
About You
With a deep understanding of what makes a radio show sing and an audience to stick around, you'll have 3+ years of hands-on radio experience - preferably in a producing role.
- You'll have a mind full of ideas - and the follow-through to make them happen.
- High level technical expertise - Zetta, Next Gen, audio editing.
- Sound intuition - you know what's going to resonate before the audience even hears it.
- You'll have a results-driven mindset - always thinking ahead, solving problems, and delivering impact.
