Mō te tūranga | About the Role

The Solutions Architect role will realise business and technology objectives through solution architecture techniques for the Banking Services domain. this role sits within the banking services domain is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex banking systems. They ensure that these systems align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

The key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain the overall architecture for core banking systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements .
  • Support the business in developing strategic transformation roadmaps
  • Effectively communicate and guide development teams and influence enterprise-level decisions
  • Act as an advocate and thought leader in all aspects of the banking ecosystem
  • As a solution architect, you will support the direction and oversight of key strategic banking programmes within the bank and collaborate with various departments to ensure that core banking systems meet both functional and technical specifications

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • 3-8 Years of architecture experience
  • Background in banking would be highly desirable across retail, commercial, investment, banking, cards, payment and loans. We would also consider individuals who have worked in fin serve / fin tech or you may have worked in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in large corporate / entperise level businesses
  • Strong appreciation of risk and security in highly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
