About the role:
As a Sports Field Labourer, you will hands-on during the busy sport seasons such as cricket season, preparing and maintaining high-quality sports turfs across the Marlborough region. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Turf maintenance including daily mowing and rolling
- Preparation of pitches including putting the covers on and taking them off
- General field and park maintenance as needed before the sports games kick off
What we're looking for:
As a team, we want to work with enthusiastic and motivated people, so you need to be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team-mates should be "second nature". You will also have:
- A current full driver's licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles
- Flexibility for weekend work will be required to ensure turfs are up to spec for playing, this will in turn allow for time after the weekend work
- A passion for all things sports related is a must!
- The willingness and ability to learn - you will be working alongside highly experienced team members able to provide you with training and support
- Energetic, self-motivated with an awesome work ethic

We offer full time staff guaranteed work hours with the ability to increase based on operational demands. We also offer a performance-based salary that is reviewed annually, and an annual wellness benefit of $300 after qualifying period and a work phone permitted for personal use.
