We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Station Facilities Coordinator to ensure our stations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
As a Station Facilities Coordinator, you will work closely with internal teams, contractors and third-party providers. You will be the first point of contact for all matters relating to the upkeep, maintenance, and operational readiness of our station facilities. responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions, maintenance and management of station facilities on the Auckland rail network to ensure it operates in a safe, clean and efficient manner for the benefit of the travelling public, our staff and our stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate, consult and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the performance of contractors and subcontractors meets contractual obligations and is performed to the highest standards at the frequencies specified.
- Coordinate information flow for the performance of contractors and subcontractors (auditing)
- Ensuring work management data quality and integrity to improve performance and management decisions
- Early identification and communication of issues and opportunities to the Facilities and Operational teams.
- Collecting and entering information into the AOR and/or Client Asset Information System and other established maintenance systems, as required
- This role will see you out on the rail network conducting inspections across stations, park & rides, depots and bus interchanges along with administrative tasks in the office.
Requirements
What you'll bring:
- Experience with loading data into systems (desirable, but training will be provided if needed)
- Previous experience in facilities management, station operations, or a similar role (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements are beneficial.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents.
- IT-literate, with the ability to use facilities management systems and reporting tools.
- Auditing and data entry experience preferred.
- A reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to travel across our Auckland commuter network.
