The Opportunity
Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated STMS to join our team in Nelson.
As an STMS, you will be responsible for leading your crew while working on TTM sites in our Nelson Traffic Management team in accordance with our Company Real Values.
As an STMS on site, you will work closely with internal departments and external clients, ensuring safe, effective, consistent Traffic Management while we transition from CoPTTM to NZGTTM, the new risk-based approach.
You will also be responsible for:
- Setting up and removing traffic sites following TTM Plans
- Lead your crew while working on TTM sites
- Complete required site and STMS paperwork and reports
- Ensuring the health and safety of you, your team and the public
What you’ll bring to the table
- STMS qualification
- Full class 1 drivers’ licence, class 2 is favourable – we can also help you with that
- Confident with basic technology (smartphone/tablet)
- Good level of attention to detail to ensure accurate TM setups
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive around Health & Safety
