RotoruaNZ is a Rotorua Lakes Council Controlled Organisation and operates as both the Economic Development Agency and the Regional Tourism Organisation for the Rotorua district.

About this role
As Strategy Analyst, you will support evidence-based decision-making across RotoruaNZ by delivering robust analysis, insight, and reporting that informs strategic priorities, drives performance and strengthens the impact of our work for Rotorua.
You will interpret data from a range of sources – including tourism, events, economic and digital performance – to identify trends, risks and opportunities and contribute to the development and delivery of strategic initiatives. You’ll lead and contribute to research projects (quantitative and qualitative), including the design, execution, analysis, and presentation of findings.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates with a tertiary qualification in business, economics, analytics or related field and experience in strategic, research or insights roles. You will have proficiency in data analysis tools and forecasting methodologies and strong communication skills to convey insights to diverse stakeholders.
