Job Description


We’re looking for a passionate Structural Engineering Intern to be part of our team in Auckland.

AECOM’s Bridge & Structures team are internationally recognised for designing and managing construction on signature bridges, landmark tunnels, and civil structures in water infrastructure around the world.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Assist in the structural design of structures, from concept to completion.
  • Support structural assessments, inspections, and renewal feasibility studies.
  • Conduct finite element analysis to evaluate structural integrity and performance.
  • Participate in on-site supervision and contribute to project coordination and scheme management.

Qualifications
  • Undertaking a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Be in your penultimate year or earlier of study at an Australian or New Zealand University.
  • Able to commence work from mid-November 2025 to mid-February 2026 (Flexible).
  • You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying.
