About the Role

Join Te Toka Tumai Auckland and be part of our growing Adult Radiology Department, part of the Clinical Support Directorate. Auckland City Hospital Radiology is a dedicated healthcare service providing imaging to the people of Auckland, New Zealand and the South Pacific. The clinical specialist forms part of the Auckland City Hospital Radiology team to provide imaging for Inpatients, Emergency Department and Outpatients. The primary function of the role is to provide clinical and technical expertise to the designated modality/area and have operational responsibility for patient volumes and resource management. Our large and dynamic department has a dedicated team of experienced professionals who provide excellent support and guidance.

You will work under the supervision of qualified MITs and contribute to a variety of radiology disciplines. This is a valuable opportunity to gain real-life experience in a dynamic clinical setting while supporting the imaging needs of Inpatients, Emergency Department, and Outpatients.

We are looking for Medical Imaging students who are:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor of Health Science (Medical Imaging) or Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours)
  • Placed clinically at Te Toka Tumai Radiology Department
  • Interested in casual, on-demand shifts including weekends
  • Willing to support across any Radiology discipline as required
