We are seeking subdivision specialists to join our dynamic and enthusiastic specialist team within the Resource Consents department at Auckland Council, the largest local government organisation in New Zealand. You will provide technical advice and certifications related to subdivision consents and activities across Tāmaki Makaurau with a primary focus on s223 survey plan approvals and s224(c) RMA completion documents.
As a senior team member, you will have a clear understanding of risk, be able to provide consistent and proportional decision making, and a strong emphasis on problem-solving, customer management and communication, coaching others, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

He kōrero mōu: About you
- Experienced in the subdivision and land title field
- Hold a tertiary qualification in surveying, planning or similar
- Provide technical advice related to subdivision consents (s223 survey plan approvals and s224(c) RMA completion documents)
- Experience of RMA and LGA processes and LINZ Landonline desired
- Experienced as a coach and mentor (for senior roles)
- Focussed on building capacity within the team
- Customer centric focus
- Ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with multiple stakeholders
