Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As part of a busy and highly committed team, you will thrive in a fast-paced role full of variety where you are encouraged to use your initiative and curiosity to improve processes and provide outstanding support to our hiring managers & candidates.
Flexing your recruitment expertise, you will be comfortable supporting high volume, frontline roles where you will be required to source talent; phone screening, running assessment centres, leveraging multiple sourcing channels & offer management.
There will be opportunities to provide robust recruitment advice to our hiring managers via market insights, candidate evaluations and selection decisions.
The appointing range for this role is $90,039 – $120,000 with appointment depending on skills & experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
This role can be based across the motu in one of our key hubs of either Wellington, Christchurch or Hamilton.

It’s not small stuff. You’ll need a lot of belief in our purpose and a track record of success in recruitment, with exceptional organisational skills and the recruitment knowledge to quickly understand a hiring manager’s requirements.

- Significant core recruitment / talent acquisition experience working in-house within large or complex organisations.
- Focus on creating an excellent recruitment experience and outcomes.
- Naturally curious and motivated; to get the mahi done both autonomously as well as contributing to the team.
- Great communication & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge & success in implementing selection processes.
- Success with picking up systems & technology quickly – Oracle ATS, Xref, Talogy, Office 365
- Delivered programmes of work benefiting recruitment - advertising campaigns, upskilling frameworks, tools, systems, talent mapping, employee referrals etc
- The ability to coach and support business leaders to hire with confidence at pace, while maintaining a customer centric mindset.
- A strategic priority for ACC is to enable equitable access, outcomes and experience for Māori - it would be advantageous to understand Te Ao Māori and application of this in designing & delivering recruitment services.
