Riviera Hardware Holdings Ltd is proudly Kiwi-owned and the largest group within the Mitre 10 network. Since opening a small store in Warkworth in 2009, we’ve grown to include Mitre 10 MEGA Albany—New Zealand’s largest hardware store—plus locations in New Lynn, Whangaparaoa, Silverdale, and Warkworth. We also operate Columbus Coffee cafés, a Distribution Centre, and a Frame & Truss Manufacturing Plant. 🛠️ About the Roles and What You'll Bring We’re looking for two new Team Members to join our vibrant New Lynn store—one in our Front-End (Checkouts) and one in our Seasonal department (camping, heating, BBQs, etc.) . These roles offer variety, customer interaction, and the chance to learn across departments. At least one weekend day is required for both roles. Our team is flexible and hands-on, and we’re looking for people who can jump between departments, especially during busy periods. You’ll primarily work in your assigned area but will be trained across checkouts and other departments. You should live locally (West Auckland and surrounding areas) and be available for r ostered weekday and weekend shifts - please note that at least one weekend day is required for both roles. These hands-on roles are ideal for people with previous experience in retail or customer service. Front-End Team Member – 32 hours per week

- 2+ years’ checkout and customer service experience required
- Confident handling cash, EFTPOS, and gift cards
- Experience with returns, loyalty programs, or end-of-day balancing
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable making store announcements

Weekdays AND at least one weekend day required-Sunday preferred
- Previous retail experience in outdoor living, hardware, or related products
- Product knowledge in BBQs, camping, or heating is a plus
- Hands-on, customer-focused, and confident recommending add-ons
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy environment

- Serve customers and provide excellent product and checkout support
- Assist with merchandising, stock replenishment, and general tidy-ups
- Be trained to support other departments as needed
