Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using local and imported ingredients.
- Take charge of a cooking station (e.g., curry, wok, noodles, prep counter, or QC).
- Assist with daily mise-en-place to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and high-functioning kitchen line.
- Collaborate closely with other team members.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
To be considered, you must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a Thai kitchen. Strong teamwork and communication skills, along with a proactive attitude and a desire to grow within the culinary field, are essential. You should be confident working under pressure, with a solid understanding of Thai ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required, and you may occasionally need to travel to other store locations within Auckland, so the ability to travel as needed is essential.
