Job Description

Our Underground Operations team are on the search for a Development Charger operator to safely charge development faces (at an average of three headings per shift) in order to achieve relevant targets.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Efficient reporting and record keeping, collating accurate daily information and ensuring all machinery documentation is completed.
- Ensure damage is kept to a minimum and reported immediately.
- Ensure a thorough face to face handover is communicated with the cross-shift members.
- Ensure that equipment is utilised effectively and efficiently.
- Pre-starts 100% completed, workplace inspection completed as required.
- Keep and maintain accurate magazine records.
- Complete magazine stocktakes to a high standard when required
- Multi-task with Loader Operators, Nippers, Truck Operators and Service Team Members
Qualifications
- Full and current driver licence and confidence driving manual vehicles over rough terrain
- Current First Aid Certificate
- A minimum of 6th Form Certificate /NCEA Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years underground mining experience
- Must have proven experience as Service Crew
- Demonstrated compliance with Company policies and procedures Current pit permit
- Re-entry Ticket
- Water down, scaling Training Ticket
- Truck Training Ticket
- Service Crew Training Ticket
- Approved Handlers Ticket
- Explosive Handling, Transport and Storage of Explosives and Detonators Ticket
- Passed out on all relevant Company policies and procedures
