About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our West Auckland team.
You will work alongside our residents at 3 stunning retirement villages in West Auckland. You will be responsible for running the Wellness Centre, supporting our independent living residents to access external home-based support services (Personal cares and household support) ensuring a positive journey for our residents.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will also do wellbeing health checks and manage their Health appointments.
This role is working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday - working across our three villages, Pinesong (Green Bay), Waitakere Gardens (Henderson) and Orion Point (Hobsonville)
A current driver's license is essential for the role. You will be eligible to claim mileage based on our Travel Policy.
About you
- An Enrolled Nurse qualification with a current APC. Previous Aged Care experience would be highly beneficial.
- Strong customer relationship building experience and proven ability to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion.
- Positive attitude and a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment. You will have empathy for the older person.
- You will have loads of initiative, excellent time management skills and the ability to work with autonomy.
- The ability to use technology with confidence is an essential.
- Current First Aid Certificate is also preferred, but we can support you to obtain this.
