- Salary Range: NZ$79,200 to NZ$95,873 dependent on skills and experience

About the role | Mo te tunga
As a Work Broker, you will:
- Bring a solid understanding of employment/recruitment - where you will proactively build and maintain professional relationships with Wellington employers across multiple sectors/industry.
- Identify and find the right employment opportunities / vacancies for our Candidates - this means you will have experience in matching jobs to skills/experience, knowledge, and attitude to open and current vacancies. You will do this through cold calling, networking, and using platforms to identify the right jobs for our candidates across Wellington.
- Advocate for our candidates and promote their skills to potential employers - supporting both the candidate into sustainable employment through coaching and confidence while also supporting our Employers with additional employment services products to strengthen long-term placements.
- Work collaboratively with our Employment Case Managers and Service Centre colleagues to ensure seamless and efficient transition of candidates towards sustainable employment.
- Travel across the greater Wellington Region as required (clean driver's licence essential).

What we're looking for:
- A positive, proactive, and results driven person who enjoys engaging with new Employers to support with filling their vacancies.
- This is a very busy role and requires someone who is well organised and comfortable with managing a workload that has new business (lead generation with Employers), candidate management and coaching building confidence, along with completion of operational system updates.
- Demonstrated ability to build genuine connections and promote and sell candidates into employers and businesses.
- A background in sales, ideally in recruitment or employment services.
- Proactive and creative mindset bringing innovative ideas on how to identify labour market trends and opportunities.
- Excellent communicator-strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
- Able to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
