In this role, you will provide clerical, and administrative services to ensure the timely and accurate payment of our suppliers. You will process invoices from various Fulton Hogan regional operations in JDE ensuring accuracy.
This is a fixed term role until December 2026 based in our Office in Burnside, Christchurch.

In addition to the above you will:
  • Accurately process general supplier invoices, checking all supporting documentation and compliance with company policies
  • Prepare supplier payments according to the established timetable
  • Reconcile accounts payable and produce detailed reports to prevent duplicate payments
  • Address invoice, statement, refund, and payment queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaise with both internal stakeholders
  • Promote the Shared Service Centre, supporting system and process improvements
  • Support additional administrative tasks as required, including vendor address book maintenance

We’re looking for someone with:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in high volume Accounts Payable.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and compliance standards (preferred)
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to invoice automation and scanning solutions (OCR) advantageous
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and the ability to manage workload under pressure
  • Proven problem-solving skills and initiative for process improvement
  • Excellent organisational and time management capability
