About The Role:
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer with to join our dynamic team based in our state-of-the-art offices in East Tamaki, Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing professional and accurate assistance for inquiries from creditors and branch staff, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Following up on supplier and customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Assisting in setting up supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records in collaboration with the Accounts Supervisor and Accountants.
- Conducting periodic account reconciliations and supporting General Ledger controls.
- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of creditors’ statements, addressing outstanding invoices, and investigating credit balances to achieve timely month-end reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly payment runs and contributing to weekly cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications
About You
To excel in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar accounts payable role, demonstrating solid financial numeracy and literacy skills.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to take initiative, coupled with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building positive relationships to support internal and external inquiries.
