About the Role
As the Ruakopito Administration Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Gastroenterology Service. Your day will be varied — from welcoming patients and their whānau, to coordinating appointments, managing health records, entering data accurately, and providing frontline reception and administrative support. You’ll be a key link between patients, clinicians, and the wider team, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail.

You’ll join a supportive and professional team committed to providing quality care to our community. Working in our busy Ruakopito Unit, you’ll collaborate closely with clinical staff and administration colleagues to ensure patients have a seamless experience.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven administration experience and strong organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a welcoming, professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing needs
