Advisor Contracts, Client Service Delivery, Wellington

  • Fixed term to 30 June 2027
  • Based at National Office, Wellington

We're looking for an Advisor to join our Client Service Delivery team, helping ensure New Zealanders receive the right support across face-to-face, phone, and digital channels.

You'll provide high-quality advice, contribute to projects and initiatives, and support delivery of services that improve client experience.

The role works closely with regional teams and external partners, including managing aspects of contracting, performance monitoring and programme delivery, so strong collaboration and relationship skills are key.

You'll support performance monitoring by tracking delivery against agreed outcomes, identifying risks or issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

What you will bring / Ou pumanawatanga

  • Experience providing advice and support in the public sector.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally, including regional teams and community partners.
  • Understanding of contracting processes and experience contributing to programme or service delivery agreements.
  • Experience in monitoring contract performance, identifying delivery risks, and supporting resolution or improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide objective advice.
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and applying sound judgement in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Experience/willingness to embed Te Ao Maori into BAU.

Salary range: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
