The opportunity…
An exciting opportunity has opened within the da Vinci Surgical Robotics Team for an Associate Product Specialist – Robotics, based in New Zealand. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and promoting da Vinci robotic surgery across New Zealand.
The successful applicant for this role will:
- Assist the da Vinci Surgery Product Specialists - to successfully manage their specified sales territories and achieve budgetary forecasts
- Manage da Vinci cases when and where required, thereby freeing-up Product Specialists to focus on generating sustainable revenue growth
- Build meaningful business relationships with Surgeons and relevant support staff
- Deliver product information, clinical education demonstrations and training to customers & relevant support staff
- Liaise with Product Specialists/Sales Management to develop ongoing sales tactics
- Attend relevant exhibitions, conferences and seminars
- Undertake regular travel throughout New Zealand to fulfill role requirements
- Additional duties and sales-related activities as required from time to time

Experience required:
- Minimum one year experience selling in a medical or hospital environment OR
- Minimum one year of relevant clinical experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the sciences - degree or similar
