Product Coordinator

Würth NZ has approximately 300 full time employees with 190 Sales Representative on the road, visiting over 20,000 customers nationwide.
An exciting opportunity has come up for a motivated and energetic individual to join our team. The field of responsibility is very wide and includes (but is not limited to) the handling of product related enquiries, product scoping, development and administration, compliance / quality assurance and processing of relevant documentation, price analysis, overstock analysis/control, new product performance reporting, conducting demonstrations and training for both internal and external consumption, all of which will play a very important part in the future success of our salesforce and the company overall.
The successful candidate will not only possess a keen interest in fasteners and consumables used throughout all industries but develop a sound knowledge of the existing product range and also play an integral part in sourcing new and innovative products to take to market. An experienced team will assist you in driving this vision forward.
Skills and qualifications in the engineering and/or technical sectors are an advantage but not essential for the right person.
The position involves:
- Playing an integral part in the future product range scoping, development and control
- Administration and maintenance of current Product Range
- Answering of general product questions and enquiries
- Price analysis and maintenance
- Compliance / quality assurance and processing of relevant documentation
- Reporting and actions relating to sales performance, overstock / devaluation, range cleansing
- Providing product training / demonstrations for internal and/or customer consumption
Experience in the following will give you an advantage:
- Understanding of fixings and fasteners, in particular in the areas of engineering, construction and the automotive aftermarket
- Good knowledge of windows office applications, especially Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP
- Presenting confidently to groups in person and in video training / demo sessions
